Hearts & Souls wish to thank the Hazlemere Fete committee for their generous donation to the charity.
We had a very enjoyable day at the highly successful Hazlemere fete on 2025 August bank holiday, raising awareness and talking with many people about our work with the Buckinghamshire NHS healthcare trust cardiac rehabiliation in South Bucks.
This donation is a share from the fete profits which are distributed annually to several local good causes and we are grateful to be recognised in this way among this years worthy recipients.

As with most NHS services, funding for the Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit is limited resulting in the team struggling to meet the current demand of patients recovering from cardiac events, potentially having to rely on funds from Hearts & Souls to help with the purchase of equipment, staff training and to cover just a basic level of service over the next 2 to 3 years.
This, and any other donations received by Hearts & Souls, will go directly to support the cardiac rehab team to improve the outcome for recovering cardiac patients.
